What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves breathing 100% pure oxygen while inside a pressurized chamber. At increased atmospheric pressure, your blood can carry significantly more oxygen to your tissues—up to 10-15 times more than normal. This oxygen-rich environment supports your body's natural recovery processes, reduces discomfort, and promotes the formation of new blood vessels. Originally developed for addressing decompression sickness in divers, HBOT is now widely used for wound recovery, post-activity support, and overall wellness. Many people who seek this type of care refer to the hyperbaric chamber as a med bed, medical healing bed, or regenerative healing chamber — reflecting the deep, whole-body restoration that pressurized oxygen therapy delivers. As part of our Multi-Signal Regenerative Therapy system, HBOT works alongside PEMF, Red Light, and Shockwave to support recovery from multiple directions at once.
Benefits
Enhanced Tissue Recovery
Increased oxygen levels accelerate the body's natural repair processes for tissues and wounds.
Reduced Inflammation
Higher oxygen concentration helps reduce inflammation throughout the body.
Improved Circulation
Promotes the formation of new blood vessels and improves overall blood flow.
Brain Function Support
Enhanced oxygen delivery to the brain may support cognitive function and clarity.
Cellular Energy Boost
Oxygen is essential for mitochondrial function and cellular energy production.
Recovery Acceleration
Athletes and active individuals use HBOT to speed recovery from training and injuries.
What to Expect
Pre-Session Consultation
We'll review your health history and explain the process. You'll change into comfortable clothing and remove any metal items.
Enter the Chamber
You'll enter our comfortable, spacious hyperbaric chamber. We'll provide entertainment options and ensure you're relaxed.
Pressurization
The chamber slowly pressurizes over 10-15 minutes. You may feel mild pressure in your ears, similar to flying or diving.
Treatment Time
Relax and breathe normally for 60-90 minutes while the increased oxygen does its work. Many clients read, watch videos, or nap.
Depressurization
The chamber slowly returns to normal pressure over 10-15 minutes. You'll feel completely normal afterward.
Pricing
Assessment-Based Pricing
Everyone's wellness journey is unique. During your initial consultation, we'll create a personalized treatment plan and provide transparent pricing based on your specific needs and goals. Package options are available for significant savings.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is hyperbaric oxygen therapy safe?
Yes. Our chamber is FDA-cleared and operates at 2.0 ATA, the clinical standard for hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Every session is conducted by trained staff who perform a health screening before you enter. Side effects are rare and typically mild — such as temporary ear pressure similar to what you feel on an airplane.
How many sessions will I need?
Most wellness and recovery protocols involve 10–20 sessions. The exact number depends on your specific goals and how your body responds. During your free initial consultation we'll recommend a personalized plan and you can start as soon as you're comfortable.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing — 100% cotton is ideal. Please remove all metal jewelry, watches, hair clips, and any electronic devices before entering the chamber. We provide gowns if needed.
Can I bring my phone into the chamber?
No. Electronic devices — including phones, tablets, and smart watches — are not permitted inside the chamber for safety reasons. We offer entertainment options through our built-in systems so you can relax, watch something, or simply rest during your session.
Are there any contraindications?
The primary contraindication is untreated pneumothorax (a collapsed lung). Other conditions that require review include recent ear surgery, certain respiratory conditions, and active claustrophobia. We conduct a full health history intake before your first session to make sure HBOT is appropriate for you.
How is your 2.0 ATA hard chamber different from soft chambers?
Our monoplace hard chamber operates at 2.0 ATA — the clinically validated pressure used in medical and research settings. At this pressure your blood plasma carries 10–15 times more oxygen than normal. Soft 'mild hyperbaric' chambers typically reach only 1.3 ATA, delivering roughly 3 times more oxygen. That's a significant difference in therapeutic potential, especially for recovery and wellness goals.
Does insurance cover hyperbaric oxygen therapy?
Most insurance plans do not cover HBOT for wellness and recovery purposes. However, we provide detailed receipts that you can submit to your HSA or FSA for potential reimbursement. We recommend checking with your plan provider. Our free first session means you can experience the therapy before making any financial commitment.
